CNC Machine Setter Operator (FANUC programing) (GP) Permanent

We are looking for a CNC Machine Setter Operator. Knowledge on FANUC programing and AutoCad design would be advantageous

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Meet set production targets
• Be able to interpret technical drawings
• Measure shell dimensions and reference them to drawings
• Assist in set up and initiate manufacturing processes
• Manufacturing and machining of all types of materials to achieve complete and accurate parts within expected time frame
• Perform deburr, clean and inspection as required
• Observe prescribed safety regulations
• Troubleshoot machine related problems
• Detect and report faulty operations, defective material and any unusual or unsafe conditions
• Monitor and record production and quality data and recognise and respond to error conditions malfunctions and faults

POST REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have relavant experience and qualifications
• At least one year of experience in CNC machine operating and/ or manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels
• Team Player
• Must be able to use measuring equipment.
