Job Description
Open position: Sales Representative (Agriculture) 
Location: Coega (Port Elizabeth) 
Salary:  Market Related
Type:  Permanent
Report to:  Management

Education and Experience
  • Matric or equivalent qualification.
  • National Diploma in Sales and Marketing or equivalent.
  • 4 - 5years’ previous work experience 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Afrikaans (ESSENTIAL)
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals on all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Sound problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Encouraging the team and staff; able to mentor and lead.
  • In-depth understanding of company key customers and their position in the industry
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, customer, and territories.
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
Job Description and Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain professional business relationships with existing strategic customers.
  • Negotiating and compiling contracts relating to pricing, rebates, stock agreements and SLA’s with customers.
  • Selling innovation for margin enhancement and strategic entrenchment with customers.  
  • Ensure excellent customer relationship management with emphasis on problem solving. 
  • Adhere to business plan as set by Sales Manager.
  • Gather market information related to trends, needs of customers, development and innovation.
  • Value added group services to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling.
  • Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the customer
  • Ability to forecast and predict future sales.
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training.
  • Expanding relationships and bringing in new customers
